Updated Return Policy - Effective (February 1, 2026)
For In-Store Purchases/Returns:
We have been grateful to serve our community with thoughtfully curated consignments, made in NH, and retail items. To continue offering the best value, quality selection, and fair pricing for both our customers and consignors, we have made a small update to our return policy. As a consignment business, the rising costs and the nature of resale require us to manage returns thoughtfully and fairly, so we can continue providing a positive experience for everyone.
Returns
- Returns are accepted within 7 days of purchase
- Original receipt and price tag must be attached
- All approved returns will be issued as STORE CREDIT ONLY
Items Not Eligible for Return
- Jewelry, Handbags, Accessories
- Swimwear, Prom dresses
- Halloween costumes and holiday-themed apparel
- Special sale event items
- Retail items

For Online Purchases/Returns:
• To start a return, you can contact us at store@mothersays.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Holds:
• We can hold items that you want to purchase.
• Clothing can be held for up to 7 days.
• Larger items, such as baby equipment, may be held for up to 24 hours.
Layaway:
• Items can be placed on Layaway for up to 7 days, with a deposit.
• Note: When an item is placed on layaway for a customer, the customer pays the price that was effective on the date the item was put on layaway.
