M&C Clothing and Gifts - Celebrates "35" years
WOW and THANK YOU is all we can say!
What began in 1990 as a small shop designed for mothers and their little ones to consign clothing, shop, and build friendships in Amherst Plaza, has blossomed into something truly special. Over the past 35 years, we’ve grown, evolved, and become who we are today—all thanks to you!
None of this would be possible without our incredible consignors, loyal customers, talented local artisans, and the unwavering support of our community. And of course, we are forever grateful for the amazing M&C staff, past and present, who have helped shape our journey. 35 years—this is our celebration, together!
Today, M&C stands as New Hampshire’s premier destination for retail consignment, pioneering sustainability, and redefining secondhand shopping. Spanning 11,000 square feet, we proudly offer a thoughtfully curated selection—from designer labels to everyday essentials in clothing, footwear, athletic wear, and accessories for all ages, including babies, children, maternity, men, women, and even pets! Plus, we celebrate the creativity of our community with an ever-growing collection of locally handmade products—ensuring there’s truly something for everyone.
At the heart of M&C's mission is a deep commitment to sustainability and community. Consignment isn’t just what we do—it’s how we make a difference. By keeping money circulating within our local economy and embracing the principles of Reduce, Repurpose, Reuse, Recycle, and Rethink, we’re reshaping how people shop, live, and give back. M&C is more than a store; it’s a community—a space where employees, consignors, and customers come together to support local businesses, embrace sustainable fashion, and champion environmental and social responsibility—all while enjoying an amazing shopping experience.
More than just a consignment shop, M&C is a movement, a lifestyle, and a destination for those who believe in shopping with purpose. Thank you for being part of our story. Here's to 35 years—and many more to come!
Your friends and neighbors, - Irene & Scott
